Welcome to our website. We are a dynamic group of Murray Grey Cattle Breeders and Enthusiasts that are dedicated to promoting this wonderful breed of beef cattle to the world. That story began along the Murray River in North East Victoria on Thologolang Station with Peter and Ina Sutherland crossing one roany shorthorn cow with several Angus bulls, resulting in light colored Mulberry cattle that caught the eye of the judges and the meat processors. It developed into a registered breed with Helen Sutherland's Michaelong Station, and over the next 100 years has now expanded into the third largest breed in Australia and is rapidly growing in many countries on several continents . 

Our purpose is to develop an easy, low cost way for you to register your Murray Grey cattle and connect with like minded breeders. Fees for membership,  registration, and transfers are kept very low so that contacts and sales opportunities will add to your bottom line. Advertising your cattle or semen,/ embryos on the marketplace page is free. 

  As an organization, our ultimate goal is unity of the  Murray Grey breeders and to support each breeder to help them achieve their individual goals. The herd book  for the Murray Grey breed is open, meaning that producers can breed up to a purebred status by crossing Murray Greys with another breed. We accept all registrations from other Murray Grey Associations, both USA and abroad.
