Cindy Hallett,( pictured here with her daughter, Heather),  and her husband Marwood, have raised Murray Grey Cattle for breeding stock on their Locust Grove Ranch in Oregon since 2012 . She loves promoting the breed and helping new breeders to develop their herds. They won MG breeder of the year at the Washington 2018 Nationals and she has helped her 5 grandchildren and many local 4H and FFA members to finish and show their Murray Grey animals at the local fairs. She is currently serving on the board as Administrator.

Dr. Hays Boyd is a third generation cattle rancher from Texas. He graduated in 2023 from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and currently works at a mixed animal clinic up in north Texas. He and his family have been raising Murray Greys since 2011. Their goals are to raise cattle that thrive in the Texas heat, are grass efficient, and produce quality beef. Dr. Boyd is looking forward to serving the members of the MGIA and  further promoting the Murray Grey breed.
